I earned my bachelor degree in Music Education and taught private lessons for a part time job to help put myself through school. I am a very patient person. I tutored special needs students in the summer in a variety of subjects. I also taught piano lessons to several students of my own while attending school. While I was in college I was the chemistry lab assistant and lab tutor. I set-up and conducted the labs the teacher had planned, and I helped the students with their homework. At the undergraduate level, as a high honors student, I took the opportunity to tutor psychology and biology undergraduates. I also received a TA position for Research Methods in psychology. I also volunteered for 2 years mentoring underprivileged Junior HS students. I continued to teach and tutor when I entered grad school. I received two TA positions, one teaching general biology labs and another teaching anatomy and physiology labs. In my second year of graduate school, I worked at a science and math magnet school for HS students, managing student projects in the animal labs. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching 3rd grade Sunday School for two years. I have been assisting my children in an educational capacity for over 7 years. I have experience in a preschool setting, volunteering with children ages 3-13, and also as a tutor to dyslexic and ADD/ADHD children.
