I am extremely individualized in my approach; by creating a Plan for each student based on a careful and non-threatening assessment of his/her needs, strengths and challenges. I feel very strongly about authentic and credible teacher reinforcement for every increment of effort and progress made toward each objective and goal within each respective student's Plan. I am also ardent about incorporating a method of Self Reinforcement for the student so that he/she can feel proud and successful about task attempt and/or completion; regardless of ultimate teacher or institutional feedback.

I am best-suited for the older student. I like to establish a rapport for efficient use of teaching/tutoring time. The more comfortable a student is with his teacher/tutor, the more interested he becomes in the subject being taught/tutored. Some students need extra help, which I am patient enough to provide; however, some students need a little push, which I am firm enough to provide.
In college, I pursued a minor degree in English because of my love of English, reading, and writing. I love to proofread and edit. Being a sociology major, I had to write many papers, which fine-tuned my grammatical, spelling, proofreading, and editing skills. In law school, I excelled in and enjoyed legal writing courses.
