As an undergraduate at NYU, I earned that extra spending money by tutoring Latin. As my customer base grew, I branched out into mathematics and general study skills. After college I went to Europe to earn an MA in Linguistics. Upon return, I immediately began a PhD program, and I used my previous experience in a number of side jobs teaching English as a second language. Over the past 4 years I have tutored several individuals in English focusing mostly on grammar and writing skills. Several of my students have gone on to graduate degrees at Ivy League institutions such as Columbia and Yale Universities. I love teaching people of all ages. I earned my degree in Human Services from Virginia Wesleyan College, after graduating I returned to Massachusetts and took several classes towards a Masters degree at Anna Maria College.
