Every child can learn, just not in the same way!

I love hands on teaching through games and centers. Keeping students engaged is my top priority. Due to the recent happenings in the world, I am offering online tutoring for the time being. Special Education is one of my top subjects! I taught 5th and 6th grade special education in both the self-contained and in-class support classroom for 12 years. Math to me is like a puzzle... if you can imagine the pieces in your mind, fitting them together in practice is so much easier. I am extremely patient and easy going, even in coaching, most kids gravitated to me because I could speak to them on their level. You have to explain it in a way that kids can understand. Positive feedback is very critical to let them know they are going down the right path.
