My comments on tutoring Math : Good at geometry

I have had helped my classmates friends with math and I am really good at geometry and algebra. I tutored people Chinese here at Trine Campus. I like to help people and not give up until we are satisfied.
I am a fluent Chinese Mandarin and I am a native speaker of Chinese. I also finished my studies of Bachelor Science of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting (Double majors) in three and a half years at Trine University, with an end of 3.53 GPA. I would say that it is a little more toward laid back. Being over 6" tall, stocky, pushing hard, being an ogre, hard-nosed, that isn't going to work for me. People have a tendency to be a bit intimidated and fearful because of my size. I will use it to my advantage if it is necessary, or becomes necessary, but I've found being a little more quiet, reserved and coaxing the student to initiate the discussion is a little better. Ask leading questions, adjust and proceed, based on their response.
I have received degrees in Int'l Business from Lourdes College, as well an Associates Degree in Accounting from Owens Community College. While with the Ohio Air National Guard, participated in the Mentoring program with Township Elementary, Swanton Local Schools for five(5)-years.
