I've worked as an engineer in the electronics and electrical engineering industry for 14 years. I have tutored children in math and science for the last 4 years, most recently in high school algebra and geometry.
I believe in demonstrating how to do the work and then guiding the children as they apply what has been demonstrated. The best way to learn is by doing under supervised guidance. As both an undergraduate and as a master student, I was compelled to help others who had struggled as I had with mathematics courses through the tutoring I did as part of the means of financing my university education in mathematics. I've earned both a bachelor's degree in Finance and in Mathematics with Computer Science emphasis. For four years I assisted student from mathematical topics ranging from basic mathematics through Calculus and Differential Equations. In addition, I have also helped grade school children learning to read, from Kindergarten through second grade.

During my undergraduate and graduate education I participated in the GK-12 program as a scientist in residence. I spent 20 hours a week in the middle school and high school setting for two years. During the completion of my BMA, I accepted a tutoring position and tutored all students (including disabled students) for two years. I eventually moved on to substituting for professors and even gained an assistant to the professor position, which included developing and teaching lesson plans. As i believe in learning form the depth of the knowledge, i don't stress on memorizing the existing things, rather i emphasize student on understanding those topics. If some thing is difficult, that actually occurs because the student have not got the full idea of that matter. Once the crux is understood, the problem no more exists.
