I use several teaching styles. Whatever works for that particular student. Some students are visual. They need to see what you are talking about. Others are good listeners; they can listen and learn. Some students need to do. All students need practice and I try to provide them with plenty of practice to ensure that they have mastered the topic.
I started teaching in 1989. Not only I have tutored students on different grade levels, but also worked as a classroom teacher in grades Pre-k through High School. I have taught integrated math and algebra I & II. All of my students gave me a positive feedback. They understood the topic well and was able to pass assigned tests. I am more than capable of helping any student succeed. Teaching is my career and hobbie.

I was a teacher's assistant and a job coach at Ayden Grifton High School FROM 2000-2003. I worked with the special education teachers teaching children job skills as well as life skills I assisted with teaching academics in the classroom. My main experience comes from having an Autistic child who has ADHD. My son is very successful in school because I understand the key to helping him learn is patience and repetition.I worked as EasterSeals working with individuals with disabilities, helping him or her with the completion of applications and learning job skills

A Little Bit About Me...

As an graduate of Elizabeth City State University, I have done exceptionally well. I learned so much through tutoring other students. When I tutored in the Business Department for Accounting and Finance classes, I gave some students hope, and some students even looked up to me. That they made me feel great and it really made me enjoy what I did because I helped a lot of the students turn the weaknesses into strengths.
I feel as though every child can achieve the impossible, and with the help of someone giving them the attention that they deserve and need, they will feel better about themselves as well.
