It takes two to tutor...and tango!

I am quite flexible. I think every person learns differently and no singular method should be applied to when it comes to tutoring; this is not an assembly line. I would take things on a case by case basis and adapt as needed, ensuring the student is getting the best possible help that I can offer him or her.
I am an English major at the University of South Carolina Beaufort in my final semester of study and will be graduating in December with a BA and a concentration in writing. I believe all children can learn, but that all children learn differently. Having taught special education, I had a range of grade levels in my class. Very often the students would be spread out over three grade levels. Because of this, I am extremely good at tailoring my instruction to different levels and learning types. I have always valued education. I can remember comparing grades and discussing what we learned in class as early as 2nd grade.
