Experienced. Effective. The logical choice.

I have always enjoyed teaching others sharing my love of learning. I find it most effective to use a variety of methods to successfully teach information. Material is best learned when it can be easily understood by the student and has practical applications for everyday life. I am not the type of tutor to just hand out answers to problems. I enjoy tutoring more than just about any other activity. Too many schools criticize a child's ability to learn when the child doesn't respond to the school's one method of teaching. I enjoy finding ways to make concepts simple and fun for the child. I volunteer for HOBY (Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar) every year. This program pushes facilitation, which is what I strive to do.
