Tutor: Math, Physics, and Chemistry.

When I was studying engineering at University of Michigan, I took a job as a tutor at Washtenaw Community College. This was the most rewarding job I ever had. Since about the year 2000, I have been working as a freelance tutor in the subjects of math, chemistry and physics. I also tutor students in engineering courses. I generally work with college students or upper-class high school students. Normally I work in the Brighton/Howell Michigan area. I meet most students at a public library or coffee shop. My average rate is $50 per hour. This can be negotiated, however. I like to take the students ability to pay into consideration and will charge less per hour if advanced payment can be arranged.
I like to work one on one with students in a neutral location. Small groups are not out of the question however.

I Help Students Tackle Math With Confidence!

I bring both personality and creativity to math sessions, and I am concerned with the intellectual and emotional well-being of all tutees/students. Never stop pushing yourself to learn

I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. While I attended Okemos high school, I partook in volunteering experiences that dealt with tutoring. Geometry is one of my top subjects!

I prefer one on one tutoring to fully understand any shortcomings or misunderstandings toward the subject. I will make math more relatable and focus on the fundamentals to improve speed and to make future subject matter easier to adjust to.
