When I was in high school I had a lot of anxiety about math. I went back to college late in life and I was terrified that I would have to take a few math courses to graduate. It wasn't long before math was my favorite class and I changed my major. When I was in school I helped a lot of my classmates with calculus. A Little Bit About Me...

I teach straight forward using the math laws which makes math logical and easy to understand. Algebra is the key to understanding all other levels of calculus and physics which is applied mathematics as well as chemistry.
While I was attending Weber State University, my part-time employment was to be a mathematics tutor for recent high school grads who did not pick up math from the elementry levels. I would tutor 8 hrs a day in between my classes for two years Student Support Services in Ogden UT where the college is located. A Little Bit About Me...

My degrees have taken me places that I never thought they would. I was excited to teach English in a school in Costa Rica for one year. There I was able to learn Spanish quickly as well as help elementary school children learn English. I taught grammar as well as science. I also tutored on the side in all subjects. Previous to this experience I tutored a fourth grader in geography, history, and spelling. In college I used many skills that helped me to prepare for teaching. A short list of these skills is math, creative writing, computer skills, memorization, and art work.
