K-8 Reading/Dyslexia

My qualifications for teaching reading and dyslexia include use of the Orton-Gillingham approach and the Barton Reading System. With specific teaching methods, students who struggle with decoding, fluency, spelling, comprehension, and writing can be successfully helped to overcome these problems. Even though I am young, I do know how to convey teaching skills with the "up-to-date" mind set of today's generation. Taking the fear out of testing, one session at a time

Currently I am tutoring Biology (among other sciences) as well as English at Pueblo Community College. I have been there for close to a half of a year at this point. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe my teaching style is very adaptive to the age and need of the learner, however, I require parental support, dedication, and willingness on the part of the student to make my tutoring approach successful.
