Because I am a very patient and detail oriented person, I feel it is best to adapt my teaching style to the student's learning style. I would first make that evaluation to determine how best to approach teaching the student. I enjoy using hands-on examples and Powerpoint presentations in teaching. I feel that one-on-one interaction will always help a child gain knowledge of a subject.
I have a BS in Environmental Science with a Chemistry minor. I also have a MS in Environmental/Soil Science. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Mississippi. I am dedicated and plan to further my education at the Master’s level. My undergraduate career consisted of many hours of numerous subjects such as Math (Algebra-Calculus II), Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Etc. Being a college graduate, I am also very skilled in the fundamentals of reading and writing. Since I graduated I have been working as a Behavior Consultant for children with developmental disabilities.
