I like to bring worksheets and activities to keep the lessons interesting. I also prefer to assign homework, creative writing prompts, and spelling quizzes to improve writing composition and reading comprehension. I tutored my high school peers informally (without pay) as the President of the English Club at Guthrie Public High School, but I have recently started tutoring middle grade children as well as high school students. I scored a 31 on my ACT, was awarded the Smithsonian English Award, and I am currently enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma as a Creative Writing major. When you study a biological concept your study process needs to be organized. Most of my tests when I started taking upper level courses covered over at least 100 to 200 pages in the textbook. You need to learn how to break it down in to smaller sections while using your notes from class to predict the most important information to know thoroughly for your next test.
