Japanese is one of my top subjects! I am a native Japanese who is a certified teacher in the State of Georgia. I have an endorsement to teach ESOL in Georgia Schools, and I have years of experience teaching language to both children and adults alike. I currently work for ALTA Language Services. I also acted as a translator for the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. I had the honor of translating for the Japanese cycling and archery teams during the 1996 Olympic Games. I currently work as a freelance interpreter/translator.

I taught Japanese to kindergarten and elementary students in public schools for four years. I have taught Japanese to middle school and high school students at Georgia Public Broadcasting for their Japanese program. My comments on tutoring Japanese : My major in college was Japanese and I passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Level 1 test which is the highest level when I graduated. After I finished the undergraduate study, I continued my master degree study in Tokyo, Japan.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated high school in 2001 and spent three years abroad in Japan, teaching English as a second language. Afterwards I completed my undergraduate education with a BA in economics and math. While attending college I worked my way through school tutoring both math and economics classes. Upon graduation, I started my post graduate career at the University of Georgia, earning my Masters Degree in Economics. Ever since graduating last December, I have been working as a full time teacher, teaching AP economics classes and math classes while working part time as a GRE and GMAT instructor.
