I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science, which focused on writing and research. I earned an alternative teaching certification, which allowed me to work as an inclusion teacher at the middle school level, which allowed me to spend a great deal of time working with small groups and in one on one settings. By the time that I have spent a short time with my students, they know that I care for them and want them to be the best that they can be; they know that I expect good work from them and want each to do his or her best. As I learn my students, I realize my need to differentiate my teaching styles to fit my students' specific learning needs and am convinced that each person can learn and can do well if he or she is worked with according to his or her particular learning style.
