Saxophone is one of my top subjects! I am a current Jazz Saxophone Performance major at Temple University. I have teaching and performance experience across many genres and in several different settings.

My name is Andrew, and I am a Saxophone player in the Philly area. I spent the last 2 years as a Jazz Saxophone Performance major at Rutgers University, and in the fall I began studying at Temple University. At Rutgers, I have had the privilege to study jazz/classical performance and theory with Ralph Bowen, Stanley Cowell, Mike Richmond, Joe Magnarelli, and many others. At Temple, I study privately with Dick Oatts. I have had experience performing in my own jazz groups, as well as in a rock/commercial setting across PA, NJ, and NYC, and have had private teaching experience in the Philadelphia area.

With over four teaching experience in a K-8 school district I hold a Standard Certificate in Elementary Education and Middle School Language Arts. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Masters in Education. I have designed curriculum for Language Arts and Technology for two school districts.
