American History is one of my top subjects! I have a History major in secondary education and this is my favorite subject.

It is my intention to provide each student with a safe learning environment. I have ten years of experience tutoring at both the K-12 and the college levels. I also have experience adapting to the needs of students with various learning styles and learning disabilities. I have eight years of experience as a college history instructor, 3 years as a rater for advance placement history, and I will be receiving my Ph.D. in history in 2016. I am experienced in US and World History. Furthermore, I have taught college honors writing and writing intensive history. I also am a scoring for several national tests, giving me insight into the test taking skills you need for the AP, ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT, etc.

My experience in education has been wide and full of variety. I began working as a linguistics tutor for the university. I worked with several students over the course of the two years in which I worked for the department. I began my field work at Mt. Morris Junior High School performing my observations. I completed my student teaching at Lapeer West High School, before graduating with a BA in Secondary Education.
