I have worked with many different age groups ranging from 7-40 years old. I currently do a lot of volunteer work where I tutor less privileged children. I have also done a lot of tutoring for college students who are struggling their first year in college. I am currently working with with second grade level students. I am very caring and cautious that each student learns in their own way and my teaching will be based on the students needs.

I like to make learning fun by teaching according to what my students like. For instance, with the little girl I tutored, I knew that she was a visual learner and that she loved art and music so I gave her a mnemonic device in a form a song she liked to help her remember verb conjugations. I also made flashcards for her to remember fruits and vegetables as well as articles of clothing. I will make tutoring more creative because it makes fun and I feel that when kids have fun while learning, they remember more.
