Experience Summary
Hi There! My name is Oliver. I am a graduate student/health unit coordinator/educator with an excellent background in math, science, healthcare, computers, psychology, sociology, and English. I have tutoring experience at elementary, middle school, high school and college undergraduate levels.

I am currently working with homeschool students and adults not affiliated with a college who are seeking GED/professional certifications.
I have a strong background in psychology and test taking skills. Most importantly, I am very patient especially when teaching math (pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, college algebra, and statistics). I gear my teaching pedagogy towards my student's learning style, For instance, when it comes to tutoring math, most of my work include confidence building, neural network rewiring (changing the negative psychology to positive self-talk), and visual examples because I am also a visual learner.
Additionally, I have been using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point for over 10 years. I am very comfortable with using and teaching these computer applications as they are used by high school and college students, as well as various employees/employer in our society.
I am also qualified and capable of tutoring students in using SPSS for the social science major. I utilized SPSS in a lot of my college courses such as Statistics with Applications, Research Methods in Psychology, Statistics for Social Science, Survey Research, and Experimental Psychology: Research Methods & Designs.
I enjoy teaching! Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions. I hope to hear from you!
