Italian Tutor - Native speaker

I work with students to find out which learning style is best for the individual. Some students learn easier with visual aids while some can pick up a lesson better with the hands on experience style and yet a third group will excel with auditory instruction. If at all possible all three styles should be implemented into the same lesson to give each type of learner the same advantage.

I can teach in a less formal manner, I can prepare someone heading to Italy who needs a crash course in "street" Italian, and prepare one's expectations. I teach by the book all the grammar and syntax rules. Then, when the student is enough confident to make a basic conversation, I choose an everyday scenario and try to build the conversation around it. I also focus a lot on the writing, especially when wanting to use it for business. Business Italian is very formal and not straight forward like English and so needs a lot of practice and dedication.
