I left school to start a family bakery in Vermont followed by award winning bakeries in Northern California and Utah. After retiring from baking, I completed my education at Vermont Tech with a degree in Information Technology.

I began my tutoring experience in the fall of 2009 with a program called Breakthrough Manchester. It serves underprivileged students in the area who do not have the resources to succeed. They ranged from grade 5 to 8. With Breakthrough I worked one-on-one with students as well as in a classroom setting in which I conducted my own lessons. I helped students with a variety of subjects such as science, math, social studies, geography, and even organizational skills.
