Teaching and coaching students to excel is a gift, and I was blessed with that gift. I believe in teaching students in the manner in which they learn--whether they are visual, auditory, or a combination of both. I believe in tailoring my teaching style to the particular style that is best suited for the individual student by trying different approaches until finding the approach that is successful. Teaching is so rewarding, there's nothing better than helping someone understand something they have struggled with in the past. I am a very patient person who loves to work with people. I also enjoy helping people overcome challenges. For example: when I worked at the accounting office my specialty was dealing with clients who had or have issues with the IRS. It was my favorite part of the job, especially when the issue was resolved! My teaching style is different for different people, everyone learns differently. The trick is to help people figure out the best way for them to catch on and retain the information. After finishing my masters I hope to teach at the high school or college level.
