Took AP BC Calc and made a 5 on the exam, had a great teacher, understand all highschool, and college level math below calc 2. Can also help with AutoCad drawings and other types of engineering drawings such as hand drafting. Good at proof-reading papers if that needs to be done. But all around I just like math and science. I believe patience is key when teaching difficult concepts. I also strive to present ideas from varied perspectives. For example, many mathematical constructions can be understood either geometrically, algebraically, or analytically. If a student has trouble with one type of explanation, presenting an alternative technique often leads to a deeper understanding of the material.

Although my bachelor's degree is in psychology, my interests throughout my education have been to study children; how they learn, how they think, and what I can do to help them better themselves.
