Having graduated with a BS in Mathematics I am now continuing my passion for learning while pursuing a masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia. My liberal arts degree from Hillsdale College has given me extensive work in all areas of learning. In the past eight years I have taught music theory and piano lessons, tutored Junior High School - University students in Mathematics and English, and instructed Halfway House residents in Mathematics, English, and Sciences in pursuit of obtaining a GED.

A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a Ph.D. in Classics, a multidisciplinary field that focuses on all aspects of the ancient Greek and Roman world. I have mastered Latin and Ancient Greek, and can read Spanish, German, French, and Italian. During my five years working full-time at various universities, I taught literature, history, mythology, archeology, and all levels of Greek and Latin. My expertise in English grammar, and in reading, writing, and organizational skills, is evident in the book and article that I have published. Math, moreover, was always a strong point for me, and I am very good at helping elementary school students in that area. My competence in such a wide range of subjects makes me an excellent candidate for many tutoring assignments.
