A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been passionate about working with different students and finding their unique learning strategies. I am supportive and very patient, but persistent in the achieving success for the student. My ultimate goal is above teaching subjects. It is to provide the student with a love for learning and the skills needed in tackling academic tasks.
Having graduated with a BS in Mathematics I am now continuing my passion for learning while pursuing a masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia. My liberal arts degree from Hillsdale College has given me extensive work in all areas of learning. In the past eight years I have taught music theory and piano lessons, tutored Junior High School - University students in Mathematics and English, and instructed Halfway House residents in Mathematics, English, and Sciences in pursuit of obtaining a GED.

A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a Ph.D. in Classics, a multidisciplinary field that focuses on all aspects of the ancient Greek and Roman world. I have mastered Latin and Ancient Greek, and can read Spanish, German, French, and Italian. During my five years working full-time at various universities, I taught literature, history, mythology, archeology, and all levels of Greek and Latin. My expertise in English grammar, and in reading, writing, and organizational skills, is evident in the book and article that I have published. Math, moreover, was always a strong point for me, and I am very good at helping elementary school students in that area. I received my Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Cincinnati in 2002, obtaining a degree in Biochemistry.
