During my four years of college and high school I had the opportunity to work as a tutor with different students in various subjects including spanish and french. Also, during my Master's I continued with this passion of teaching. I have not only been a tutor but I have been also working as a spanish teacher for elementary school teachers in various school districts around Devon, Wayne and West Chester, PA. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I have one year of experience tutoring university students but am willing to work with students of any age and adapt to their learning styles. I lived and studied in Salamanca, Spain for three months as well as lived and studied in San Jose, Costa Rica for two weeks. I have also traveled to other Spanish speaking countries such as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

I have a year experience tutoring university students, but I am willing to try any age group. I was paid to tutor basic up to intermediate/advanced Spanish. During summer 2015 I worked in a Latino Hispanic American Community Center doing translations and also some tutoring adults. I have experience with the language, being that I studied in both Spain and Costa Rica as well as visiting other Spanish speaking countries.
I am flexible. I would like to teach the way the student will benefit the most, so I will ask him how he would like to learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math. I just recently graduated and I can't see myself not helping someone learn and love math. Math isn't a subject that everyone loves but I believe that can change with the right teacher. I have taught a few weapons classes and use of force classes as a security forces member in the Air Force. However, I have never taught classes on a regular basis.
As a supervisor and trainer in the military, it was my responsibility to train the new individuals that came into the job. There was a lot of studying material that I constantly had to sit down and go over with them. We made flashcards, took notes, made up quizzes, did verbal question and answers, etc. I actually used to tutor math in High School when I was in an advanced Calculus class and have helped many friends with their college math.
