I have learned from my best teachers that patience and being aware of how each individual student understands the subject matter are virtues. As an undergraduate at UConn, I pursued a number of fields from computer science to communications and philosophy, giving me a wide range of experience in a multitude of subject areas. In my senior year, I became a substitute teacher for grades 7-12 in all subjects. I am currently a graduate student in criminal justice, writing papers and doing research almost continuously.
