My comments on tutoring Calculus I : Calculus is the basic college mathematics that students have difficulty with. I teach calculus by referencing how it is used in industry giving the student a grasp of the influence of calculus.

It has been my great pleasure to have taken part in several classroom setting teaching opportunities and numerous tutoring jobs. I taught Chemistry and Calculus to incomming university freshman in the Engineering Freshman Transition Program (eFTP) and proctored and designed the University of Florida's Tissue Engineering Lab class. While in university I tutored every mathematics dicipline from pSAT prep to Differential Equations and Astrodynamics. This problem is abstract and challenging to some people. Thus, I rephrase it to, "If you have 7 quarters in your pocket, how much money do you have?" A Little Bit About Me...

When I graduated from Bradley University I was looking for ways to keep up with the accounting functions. One way that really helped me was tutoring. When I first graduated, I tutored for Bradley's Freshman students taking Financial Accounting. Currently I do training in auditing and financial procedures at my work. I work for a hotel management company and work with GM's that have no prior accounting experience.
When in school I did not like that my major was Accounting. I did not enjoy my classes or teachers, now out of school I enjoy my job and accounting more than I ever thought I would.
