Many students are very apprehensive when they enter math classes because the concepts seem so foreign. After graduating with a degree in history as well as with completion of pre-medical requirements I started tutoring students grades k-12 as well as college students in math, science, english and reading. After college I completed 2 years of FAA flight training and began teaching ground and flight instruction for all levels of pilot training (including aerobatics), which has allowed me to hone my teaching skills working with so many different age groups, personalities and cultural backgrounds. As a flight instructor I teach aerodynamics and basic physics while using math on a regular basis.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a very diverse background and I have many years of experience teaching in different subjects. I was an English teacher for one year in Korea, teaching children at a public school. I have taught fine art at a private school in Salinas. I have also been teaching martial arts and self-defense for over 10 years. I have worked with children as young as 4, to adults in their senior years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from San Jose State and I graduated with honors.
I enjoy working with students of all ages. As a teacher, there is nothing greater than to see my students succeed. I am more results-oriented and I encourage students to work persistently until they have accomplished their goals. I am friendly, patient, and easy going.
