I believe everyone can do mathematics. It just has to be explained to the student in a way so that he can relate to it. I believe in presenting the material in several different ways so that it can be understood. My teaching style I would describe two-fold: First, my military background taught me their three step process; tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you told them and my own personal style which is a hybrid of the discovery method and guided question and answer. I have always been a firm believer in that there are no dumb or silly questions. If a child or an adult has a question, there is a reason for that question and it deserves the best answer possible. I have always had a desire to teach and be involved in education. After earning a degree in Broadcasting, I decided to change fields and get into teaching. I earned a CELTA (Certificate in English Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge University in 1999. Upon receiving that certificate I immediately began teaching English to adults.
