I have worked with children of varying ages since 1982. I am most passionate about Language Arts, History and Science. During my senior year in college, I tutored individual students in Science and I worked one-on-one with 4th graders helping them with Math skills. My classroom experiences include 3rd and 6th Grades. My 3rd Grade room in California had 32 students - 60% of whom were at kindergarten level English speaking / reading / writing. Many of their parents were non-English. I love teaching and working with students of all ages. I particularly enjoy watching a student's eyes light up after catching on to something new. I know all students learn in different ways, but I believe most people learn best when they are relaxed and enjoying themselves.
