Believe in yourself, and you are half-way there!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. I have tutored numerous times throughout college, and would like to get back into tutoring students because I find it to be rewarding. As a student who went from living in Germany and being taught that there are many ways of getting the right answer, to moving to America where everything is taught in one way, I have learned to incorporate my tutoring skills to the need of each individual student. I am a Chartered Accountant and have passed the CPA exam. I have been working in the Finance sector for over 15 years. I have also had a stint in teaching while doing my certfication as a HighSchool Math teacher.I have also substitute taught for 3 years in various subject areas.
I am of the opinion that children should be given clues and lead on to discover answers to questions. In some areas I like them to memorize certain facts which will help them solve problems better.
