A Little Bit About Me...

I'm a Junior at the University of Louisville. I'm a Nursing major, and I plan on working as a Pediatric ER nurse. I love kids! I love watching children and students learn and knowing that I was apart of the process! I'm 21, and live in Simpsonville, Ky. I was raised in south Georgia! I have danced my whole life. I was on the dance team in Georgia back in highschool. I also played soccer and Women's Professional Football. I'm outgoing, and I get along with anybody! I'm fun and playful, but I know when it's time to get serious. A Little Bit About Me...

In May 1997, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Superior State University with a major in English Language and Literature and a minor in French Language and Literature. In May 1998, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Michigan Provisional Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education. My experiences as a technical writer, web designer, and writing tutor have been invaluable and have strengthened my skills both as a writer and as a teacher of writing. While in law school I mentored and tutored first year law students along with students at a neighboring high school. I guided first year law students as to which supplemental books to buy, how to decipher a court's ruling and how to respond to a professor's question. I tutored the high school students in Algebra and Literature, all of which I took as an Advanced Placement student, along with studying skills. Further, during the past year I was a high school math tutor with a Kentucky tutoring company in which I tutored mostly Algebra.
