My comments on tutoring College Algebra : I am a certified secondary math teacher in Kentucky with a professional degree (ABD) in curriculum and instruction with an emphases in mathematics education and assessment. I have 16 years of high school math teaching experience and served as math department chair, a mentor teacher, and primary curriculum writer. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics since the age of 15. I started working at a tutoring center where the student's ages ranged from 4-15. I then moved on to college where I studied math and computer science. I was a teaching assistant for Calculus I and II. Since my retirement I have tutored math to students in the Black Achievers Program thru the Lexington YMCA. I truly love teaching math and have always received very high evaluations.
