A Little Bit About Me...

I have five children of my own and spend many hours helping them with school work. I have found that patience and repetition in many cases are very good paths to success. I do not believe in becoming frustrated with children that do not understand as it only raises their frustration level as well. I also think that using real world examples while teaching is key to helping them understand. I am able to bring these examples to the table having many years of experience working outside of a teaching environment with real projects.
I have a few years experience teaching in the Air Force. I also have an extensive background in engineering, statistics and math in general. While in the Air Force I was an instructor for the Space Operations School in Colorado Springs. This gave me the opportunity to go through many classes on how to instruct various types of students.
