I believe students learn by example. I first like to try some examples then let the students try some on their own. After I have shown a few examples I listen to the student talk about any misunderstanding they might have about the concepts. This way I can easily pinpoint what ideas are being missed and correct the problem by practicing more relevant examples. My previous four year work experience as a engineering, math and physics tutor has taught me how to work well with others by communicating complicated ideas in a simple easy to understand manner.
