My comments on tutoring Writing : In addition to teaching students some great skills to develop their writing, I also teach them how to develop good research habits. Writing papers doesn't have to be like pulling teeth!

I recently obtained my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, where I graduated in the top of my class with a 4.0. While there, I often tutored people in writing and research, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant for various classes including: Theatre History, Voice for the Actor, and Shakespeare. In addition to my degree in Theatrical Performance, I received a minor in English Literature. Since I've been home, I've been helping some of the younger members of my family with their writing and study skills, and their grades have greatly improved since we've started working together. I am certified in Elementary Education as well as Specific Learning Disabilites with twenty four years experience. I have taught first grade for three years, third grade for nine years, and special education resource for twelve years.
