From 1991-2004,I worked as a Transition Teacher for student's with disabilities. My primary responsibility was to do planning, motivation, student self-assessment,individual performance that was teacher observed and on site assessment by the employer in a supported work environment.I've also taught Social Studies and Economics at the Secondary level. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is to draw connections to what the students are trying to learn with what is happening today that they might be interested. When I am able I like to show them where the event happened [if it is history] so that the student does not just hear names and dates but can picture it in their head.
As someone who loves history I discovered my passion for helping others understand history. Because of this love I pursued a degree in museum studies. I have over 6 years experience in volunteering my time at history museums in order to educate today's youth about the past.

As I graduated from Corning Community College in Early Childhood Education, I instantly started work as a teacher's aide in the school district of Watkins Glen as well as Odessa. I worked with the children for a year, then i married and moved to Watertown N.Y and became so involved that i began working with special needs children. I did that for sometime till i had surgery. I recently moved back to the area and would love to work with children again. My degree in Associate Of Science.
