I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.
While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.

While taking a variety of college courses, I found my area of interest in accounting. After receiving my Bachelors degree with honors, began working in the accounting field and towards my masters degree in taxation. I have worked well with many individuals in a variety of industries and most enjoyed the training/supervision of a young staff at Genetti's.
