A Little Bit About Me...

While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.
I have a strong business background, with an MBA, CPA, and CIA. However, as a student at Susquehanna University, I also volunteered at least 2 days a week at a local preschool where I helped teach the students. In addition, I worked at a local elementary after-school program 2 days a week. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification through Drexel University.

My recent experience in teaching children includes my own personal experience as I have been teaching my two year old her ABC's, Spanish, counting, etc. I believe it is important for her to gain a global perspective of the world and therefore I teach her about not only our own religion and customs, but also those languages and religious customs of those living in other parts of the world.
