School is my passion and my goal is to help students reach their maximum potential. It has been my experience that students often dislike subjects in which they do not excel. It is my goal to help students overcome their learning challenges and find the same passion I do in education. I am patient, considerate, and have a sense of humor. Private piano and organ teacher from 1976 to 1988. Taught lessons at Ralon Music Store and home studio. Age range of students was from 7 year old to adults. Had each student participate in two annual recitals and the National Guild of Piano Teachers Guild annually. Each student took a 30 minute private lesson weekly and performed at monthly workshops to enhance theory and performance skills. I have taken private lessons both classical and jazz improvisation. I was a church organist and choir pianist from 1981 to 2001.
Teaching is a gift I have loved expressing my whole life. I enjoy motivating children to express themselves and to learn.
