I have taught college level classes to minority mid and high school students at University of Illinois and George Washington University. I was also a teachers assistant at NMSU while I was in grad school the last 2 years. I TA'd for statistics class. Specifically EST 311.

I have always loved teaching. I never had a desire to divert from teaching and become a counselor or an administrator. I have taught students from kindergarten to community college. I do not have a certification in math but I have taught k-8 math in special education classes and in mainstream classes through inclusion. I have a very strong background in the application of physics and mathematics. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and my M.S. is in Aerospace engineering with a specialization in plasma physics. Furthermore, I have spent 2 years in mechanical engineering research, 2 years as an aerospace engineer, 2 years teaching aerodynamics labs and researching plasmas.
