I have a lot of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have tutored for about 10 years now, starting with my fellow classmates while still in school and now tutoring one-on-one, mostly for elementary-aged children. I also teach - I conduct a teenage choir, taught at a Ukrainian school for 7 years (grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary), and give individual piano lessons. I've received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and have had some experience teaching all grades K-5. I am currently working on my Master's as a Teacher Leader, with an endorsement in ESL.

While in the UAE (Dubai), I tutored Arabic students in American English, customs and common phrases. A Little Bit About Me...

I really like the Sanskrit word, “Namaste,” which I consciously use as a point of guidance in encountering people. One interpretation or meaning of this word is: The Light in me sees the Light in you. I want to honor others so that I can be of better service to them. I am a double major from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Modern Languages (Russian & German) and International Studies. I also spent time studying abroad and improving my language skills in Russia, Germany, and Finland. While in Russia I worked as an English tutor and as an assistant teacher at St. Petersburg State University. At Kenyon I worked three semesters as an apprentice teacher for Russian and one semester for German. I was a college tutor for both languages. I was active as the co-president of both German and Russian clubs and am the recipient of the college’s German prize.
