While attending Claflin University in the pursuit of obtaining duel BA's in the field of journalism and sociology, my off times was spent in the middle schools of Orangeburg, SC for nearly six years. I spent 4-5 hours in the classroom (daily) as an assistant and tutor/mentor in language arts classes grades 6-8. As a Business Education teacher in the classroom, I also have experience with home based instruction for special education and working with at-risk middle school students in an after school program.
