Computer and other skills available, what I know I share.

I go with the styles that fit the student. I generally use the first couple of visits to assess what works best for the student and then work with the student in a calm and patient yet firm manner. I do not try to force results, every student learns differently and has different aptitudes. Therefore, it wiser not to push the student too hard for results, rather I push myself to find new and inventive ways to help students learn the material.

Hello, I have a bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. I have taught in three schools around the county, differing in academic and socio-economic levels. I have personally taught grades K-4, but am certified to teach up to grade 6. I also have experience in SES and ESOL classes. Reading is the first step to a successful school career.

I have been in the child care field for over 25 years. I have 4 children of my own. I am currently attending HCC in pursuit of my bachelors degree in elementary education. I have been the director of a local child care center and am currently the VPK teacher. I am responsible for the education of these 20 children to ensure that they are ready to enter Kindergarten. I teach phonics, letter recognition, simple math, and introduce the children to science.
