A Little Bit About Me...

I am a one on one person when I teach or tutor. I homeschooled my son for one year before sending him to public school and found that to be quite rewarding. When I tutor a student, I like getting to know the student, their experiences and how their perceptions of topics that they will have to write about in the college arena. The reason is not solely for me to learn the student as an individual and help them specifically, but also to allow the student to learn more about themself so that they inevitably learn how to create definitve theses and write coherently. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that all students learn differently and should be treated as so; with this being said i believe that each student should work at their own pace and should be helped to find strategies that help them learn.
I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Northeastern University with my BA in Pscyhology and my MAT in Elementary Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher. From the time I was in high school I worked to have as much experience working with children as I could. My full year of student teaching was fulfilled at Josiah Quincy Elementary in downtown Boston. I worked in two classrooms, 1st grade and Kindergarden, under two of the best teachers I have ever met.
