Early in my career I worked with adults that were mentally and physically challenged. Math is something that I am extremely passionate about and believe that STEM majors are the best ones to get you far in the world. SAT - Math is one of my top subjects! SAT Math is one of my specialties. Math always came to me, but this test was not the most difficult to study for. I Scored a 770 on the math section, and 790 on the SAT II Math I Subject Test. I know the test inside and out and am very good at helping people to learn the strategies to understand what the question is asking and answer it in a timely maner.

I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Having this mentality of preparation and success will being them to reach their goals.

My specific style of teaching, especially for the 8th grade, is to read the current book being used, and then present my lesson with lecture, interactive discussion and comprehension, based on the age and grade of the student. I like to put the lesson into terms that the age group can relate to, and then assign a memory technique that will teach the students to recall the proper answer by using the examples we have discussed in class.
