Because I enjoy and see the wonder in science and I like to show that to students. A common problem with individuals needing tutoring is that they sometimes do not think they have the "smarts" to learn the subject. My first objective is to show them they have the "stuff" to get it! I do not believe in standardized testing. Each child has the capability of learning, but not all children have the ability to take tests, for whatever reason.
