Experience Summary
Sine high school, I have worked with children in BOCES. However, I started college later in life, after children and marriage. I wanted to provide my children with an education that I couldn't afford since I knew nothing of grants in 1974. I started with my AA and did not stop until I achieved my MS. My education has taught me discipline, research, study habits, and critical thinking skills. I have tutored students K-12; in Language Arts, Reading, Literature, English, Parenting, Nutrition, Careers, and electives for 11 years. Each individual student has taught me something new.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is to discovery how each child learns, whether it is visual, audio, movies, written, tactile, CD's, adaptive technology, and re-learning. I want my students to have success and become life-long learners while providing them with the tools that help them reach their potential. Learning is an experience that should be enjoyed and given praise, compassion, kindness, and consistency helps one learn and discover their academic success. I have made many differences in student's lives, as they have taught me learning experiences that I will never forget. I am expressive, funny, and love to teach.
